Aust in the hall.

"Lady Violet, I'm sorry I didn't get that last mission. It was to play at the wedding right?" Aust seems slightly worried about this. "And I'm really sorry I could keep Lapis alive when the bats attacked, for some reason she was heading outside of the cave into the rain."

"Wedding? No, you were- Did you perform well? What am I saying, of course you did. I'm sure you brought honor to the guild." She looks sad for a moment. "I didn't know her for long, but she was a member of the guild. I'll pay to have a painting commissioned and we'll hang it in the guild hall. I know you all did your best. Some things just can't be helped."

"We did great, but there was a problem.... someone put things around that caused great splashes of colors every where." Aust looks at himself "But I found one." He's smiling ear to ear as he displays his multi colored skin and armor.

"Colorful. I'm sure your enemies will be intimidated. Did you manage to make any gold?" She quickly adds, "For the guild. Gold for the guild"

"Im not sure, Chi would know about that." Aust looks around "I think I'm going to get cleaned up."

"Right, Chi... which one was he again? I also need the address of your blacksmith friend. My sword is in pretty bad shape. It can wait until you're clean, tho."

"The cat with the bow." Aust looks down and pretty embarrassed "I don't know the address but I can bring you there."

"Thank you. I'll talk to Chi for now and you can take me later. Would that be okay?"

Aust perks up "Ya that will be fine." Aust heads into the barracks to start to clean his armor.

Lady Violet arrives back later that evening.She appears tired and is sweating heavily .

"Are you all right?" Aust jumps up and grabs his spear. "Who do I need to hurt?" Aust is moving towards the door all thoughts of neon colors out of his head.

"When I learn the bastards name, you'll be the first to know." She holds her side. "Help me to the chair, will ya? I think I might have overdone it. I should probably get myself a horse."

Aust rushes over to clumsily help her to a chair. "A horse might be good. We might need a doctor here."

Violet takes a seat. "I'll be fine, big guy. I'm more interested in meeting your blacksmith friend ." Violet hums while she takes out a small dagger. As she pulls it free of its sheath, her voice becomes amplified. She continues to sing and a golden aura surrounds her. The humming and the aura both fade and Violet looks serene. "See, good as new."

"Okay then are we heading to Bayley`s now? Or do you need more time to rest?"

"Lead the way... just don't walk too fasf."

"OKay then just give me a moment." Aust heads back to get his armor and shield. "Okay now I'm ready lets go." Aust leads the way slowly to Bayley`s going the long way and looking around for any would be attackers (forgetting that he's doing that until he looks at Violet again.)

Violet does her best to keep up. Catching her breath whenever Aust slows to look around. "Your friend sure picked a great location. I aways say, you don't want to make things too convenient for your customers. How much further? "

"Oh Um we should almost be there. I had to take the long way around or I would get lost." Aust looks embarrassed. "Sorry."

Violet's expression softens. "Don't be. You're doing a great job of getting us there safe, and I'm getting to see so many parts of the city. It's good to get familiar with your surroundings ."

Aust stops dead. "Your surroundings? There builds mostly houses some shops? That's all really."

Violet tries to keep a straight face. "And now I know that. Hey, did I ever tell you the story of Redo the halfling ?"

Aust thinks really hard about this question."I don't think so? If you did I forgot is it a good story?" Aust looks around "Wait aren't we heading to Bayley`s shop? We need to get going." Aust starts walking again.

As they walk, Violet tells Aust a story about a halfling named Redo that save a queen that turns out to be a goddess in disguise.

"That's a good story, you should tell everyone else that story." Aust points off to the side. "There's Bayley's place."
